The Grafimec bearings of Line SIM are exempt from oil and have solid permanent lubrication, they are ideal for critical combinations of load/speed and extremes of temperature, ensuring better conditions of sliding through the formation of permanent film that occurs right when starts the movement between a compound and the bearing.
The main characteristic of this range is its high load capacity at low peripheral speeds. The basic metal can be bronze in its many alloys, cast iron and stainless steel. The solid lubricants that cover 30-35% of the friction surface consist of graphite and PTFE modified by adding additives such as waxes and metal oxides in order to improve the friction coefficient.
