Grafimec, favorite affiliate of Grafitel, was born in Brazil in 1979, conceived by five young dreamers and entrepreneurs. In Brazil, Grafimec was a pioneer in the use of self-lubricating systems based on the insert of graphite plugs in metallic bases; conventional lubricants (oils and greases) were not appropriate in such places.

This process technological development is due to Grafimec's effort, which combined to the relentless pursuit of overcome challenges, has also developed markets and products related to these systems.
